New Featured ArtworkÂ
The latest on my easel is this charcoal drawing of a Puffin. Drawn in charcoal on heavyweight paper, it has such a shy, unsure feel to it, almost a vulnerability which probably echoes it's position in the world as the population drops of these gorgeous birds!Â
A bit about me...
I've always had a creative streak, but joining a local art class a few years ago changed everything. What began as a hobby quickly became a passion and opened the door to an exciting new chapter in my life.Â
Since then, I have embraced every opportunity to create, explore new techniques, and evolve as an artist.

Surrounded by the beauty of the Staffordshire riverside village where I live, I find endless inspiration in the changing landscapes and wildlife around me. Charcoal remains my favourite medium. I love its ability to create depth, drama, and expression, helping me capture the mood, texture, and energy of landscapes and animals.
Although charcoal is my favourite, I love to shake things up with bursts of colour, experimenting with acrylics and pastels to create works that are bold and vibrant and bringing an entirely different character to my artwork.Â

I hope that you enjoy following my journey through my gallery as I explore finding my style as it emerges!Â
